Scherzer Print

In 2019 I enrolled in a digital illustration class through the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria. The final project was creating a portrait, utilizing mixed digital media to create a completed composition.

I chose to focus on Max Scherzer of the Washington Nationals following their World Series win, and created the portrait in Photoshop using a Mac Book Pro and a Wacom bamboo tablet. Once I had the sketch and the coloring done, I overlaid various textures and newspaper articles about the 2019 series win to give the print variety and character.
